Tuberculosis of esophagus occurs in 5% of patients with gastrointestinal tuberculosis, develops in patients with destructive pulmonary tuberculosis as a case of specific multiple organ abdominal damage. Patients report symptomatic dysphagia, macroscopic infiltration of the mucous coat. Tuberculosis of esophagus is diagnosed by histologic parameters. Often tuberculosis of esophagus is accompanied by intestinal tuberculosis and abdominal tubercular lymphadenitis.
